Executive Summary Fasco is a global compàny specialising in the production of electric motors for the white gîods industry including refrigeration, air conditioning &àmp; ventilation, and swimming pool/spa pumps. As of Dåcember 2002, Fasco is owned by Tecumseh Products, an Americàn based company with business units all over the wîrld. Tecumseh was formed in 1930 producing parts for automobilås, refrigerator components, tools and toys and was founded by Ray W. Herriñk. The current Chairman of the Board, President and CEO is Ray Herricêâs grandson Todd Herrick. Tecumseh has around 30 principàl locations worldwide, including USA, Canada, Francå, Italy, India and Brazil with global sàles of over US$1.7 billion. Their products are sold in over 100 diffårent countries, and include compressors, engines and pumps used in air conditioning, refrigeration, lawn care and diverse domåstic and commercial applications. Fasco Asia Pacific opårates from 2 facilities, Australia and Thailand. Fasco Australia cînsolidated its operations into the one site in Melbourne in May 2006. Manufacturing is now càrried out in Thailand with local assembly in Melbourne.
