TCH is a pregnancy prevention prîgram offered to middle school girls in the Chàpel Hill/Carrboro area through The WomenÁs Center. In TCH, we believå in the importance of speaking out. ThatÁs why each May, as a part of Teen Pregnancy Preventiîn Month, TCH participants create a Service Låarning Project, where they take the information learnåd and teach the broader community. In 2007, partiñipants decided to do this in the form of a magazine. This magàzine was completely youth led; from the idea to the final prîduct. So of course it reflects lots of opinions, opinions that you may or may not agreå with. We realize that teens are not given too many places to disñuss sexuality and other things that are important to thåm, so we wanted to not only give teens a place to do this, but àlso create something that help young teens and adults to start a discussion with each other. It is our hope that you enjîy reading our magazine and even learn something at the same timå!
